Custom: Maria Hill

I started reading Marvel Civil War a few weeks back and the very first character that I wanted to do was Maria Hill. Good thing that the ML Wasp is on buy one take one in local toy stores. I decided to buy and start my customs with her. Basically, I removed the wings using knives and pliers then added epoxy to match SHIELD uniforms. I gave the costume a little twist by making it silver edition instead of the usual black. So here she is.

How I Started

I started customizing around late April to early May of this year. I bought all the things I needed to start. Epoxy clay, Tamiya paints, brushes, craft knife, tools and other miniatures to help me get this hobby started. To date, I have done more than 15 customs. I use Marvel Legends figure as bases. Some require just repainting while others can involve harder methods like adding epoxy clay or swapping parts. I learned mostly from online tutorials and other friends who helped me along the way. Soon, I will be posting links to tips on customizing as well as my customs. Hope you enjoy my works. :)
