Custom: ROTF Ice Cream Truck

Here's my favorite project to date. I just had so much fun making these guys. It was a learning process along the way. This is my first project with a led light and the first time I soldered for a toy. I also added decals to make it more screen accurate. Also revised the ice cream cone to make it transparent and allow the led light to light up brightly. I sculpted a bit for dirt and mud effects then gave the toy intense weathering. Here's the result. I might just make another one if time permits. Hope you like it!

Custom: MU Ultron

Here's Iron Man worst nightmare, Ultron! He was incidentally made from an MU Iron Man which was resculpted and repainted into Ultron in his popular silver adamantium and red accents. He comes with a glider in which he is attachable. Hope you like him!

Custom: MU Wolverine and Madrox

Madrox was made from an XOW Gambit with a resculpted body. Then I repainted both figures into their popular Jim Lee costumes of the 1990s. Hope you like them!

Custom: ROTF Sideways

Here is my 2nd ROTF custom Sideways. I basically repainted it to silver metallics then added a few details to bring out more life into this new character. Then clear coated the car mode to really bring out the shine. Some early pics are also included. He is also my very first commission and I'm very happy with the result. I hope his new owner likes him!

Custom: SHS Anti Venom

Another Anti Venom but this time in SHS scale. He is made from a Venom that I had lying around. I sanded down a lot of areas to adjust the look. Then it was painting from there on. Enjoy!

Custom: ROTF Sideswipe

Here's my version of my favorite character from the recent movie. Despite his limited airtime, I love Sideswipe's fight scenes and the Corvette Stingray is nothing but LOVE. My version is what I would consider an upgraded version and he's got a few added details. I gave him a cannon to supplement his blades which fires a pulse projectile. This cannon can be conveniently stored beneath when he is in car mode. Then I added nitro flame effects which is essential in showing that this car is fast! I also gave him several clear coats to add a very nice gloss finish and metallized his plastic looking parts. Hope you'll like him.

Custom: dtorch's girlfriend

Another real person custom that I did. This time, it's my girlfriend made from a boxset Invisible Woman resculpted and painted with realistic details. This means that I based the figure on real gears that she really uses. Hope you like this too!

Here's a custom of myself. I used authentic gear which I really own. Basically, a Genis Vell ML that I resculpted. For the iPod earphone wire, I drilled holes inside the ear to insert the twisties then covered the ear for the earphones. The hardest part was probably the shirt detailing. I hope you guys like it.

Custom: Nightcrawler Night Light Version 2

I redid the 1st one I made. Basically customized Nightcrawler in a different costume. I added a few details through sculpting like the belt and collar then slowly repainted. Several coat of blue and metallic blue using different techniques were used. The costume itself is coated with different shades of yellow including flat yellow, clear yellow and yellow orange. I love the result, it makes Kurt very vibrant which was exactly what I was aiming for.

Custom: Superhero Squad AOA Sunfire

Originally a SHS Human Torch that I resculpted the face then repainted away based on the 6" scale ML AOA Sunfire. Took me quite some time to repaint the details but the result speaks for itsef. I love the cuteness factor of this figure. Hope you like it too!

Custom: TF Movie Ironhide

Here's the Autobot's weapon specialist Ironhide in a G1 inspired flavor. He's a movie voyager Ironhide repainted to show more metal and make him less plastic. To give him a G1 taste, I clear coated the alternate mode GMC truck with red to achieve a shine red color which is visible with bright light. He's more badass than ever with this new treatment. Hope you like him!

Custom: Scarlet Spidey

Another original costume Spidey which I converted to Scarlet Spidey costume. Basically added a few parts like the shirt with hood and a few more details. Then repainted away. I used a sign pen for the spider logo.
